"Let me start out by stating that I have never been to Green Mountain Harley, nor am I likely too. But with that being said let me explain. I Live in Michigan and recently purchased my fist Harley Davidson motorcycle, a 2006 Ultra Classic that apparently the original owner bought at None other than Green Mountain Harley. Wanting to know as much as I could about the bike I called the service dept and talked to Chris wow what customer service this guy was as informative and polite as he could possibly be. He told me of all the services that had been done and recommended the future services that should be done at future mileage intervals. If this is the type of customer service provided by Green Mountain I would truly recommend their dealership. The people of that area are very lucky to have them there. Thank you very much Chris. "I just want to say Thanks so much to all of the staff at Green Mountain H-D. While on a 3 day tour through Vermont, my '93 Electra-Glide Classic developed a mechanical problem which ended my tour abruptly in Rutland. I brought my bike to GMHD per recommendation of a friend and they immediately took my bike in to inspect and identify the problem. The staff was extremely friendly and informative. The mechanic that worked on my bike was right on top of the problem.The service tech kept me informed of the progress and repair. They fixed my bike and went the extra mile to make things right. Being from out of state, my resources were limited. But the staff was very accommodating. The owner had even volunteered to pick me up locally to get me to the dealership to pick up the bike. My hat's off to great service! "

"This is long overdue, for that I must apologize. Late August, 2009 I had the misfortune to have been rear-ended while at a traffic light. I brought my Bike to GMHD, got an estimate, made the appointment and brought my bike to the dealership for the repairs needed. When I was called and said I could pick my bike up, I arrived at the same time the doors were being closed for the evening. I was NOT turned away but instead, Ron and Mike moved 4 other bikes to get to mine, they even offered the complimentary wash, which I declined due to the time of night. When we inspected the bike before I was going to leave, there was a slight problem with the wiring harness. I suggested I could come back the next day as it was now close to 7:30. That was not what they wanted to do, They moved a couple of more bikes, brought mine in, put it on the lift and completed the repair, which has not given me any problems since that day. That is the kind of service department that any dealership should be very proud to have in their employ. I also work in customer service and That was way beyond what was expected of them to do, I cannot thank them enough. Dave and Debbie should be proud of what Mike and Ron did that evening, when they should have been home with their families.!!, There will be no doubt when I am in need of another Harley, I know exactly where I will be heading, GMHD . "I believe I have showered the sales team and ownership with enough praise for the great and patient job they did in selling me my bike. The accessories team is fantastic however the inventory is slightly depleted. My primary reason for spending time on this survey is because of my recent experience with the service department. My (NEW) VRod Muscle kept burning fuses hence causing it to be in the shop as opposed to me riding it. The Vermont riding clock is ticking and being a chronic complainer this could have been detrimental to our relationship. First John Fahey (Five Stars) and Christine (Five Stars) both did a great job of managing the repair and preventing my frustration from ever taking root. BUT my bike wasn't fixed. I was desperate enough to do (five mile) loops on borrowed models to satiate my need to ride on one of the remaining nice weekends. Service to the rescue!! They found the virtually impossible to find short, saved the weekend, and freed up a demo for a few hours for someone else with their own story. They (the service techs and I say they because I do not remember their names but virtually all of them , at least three) showed that they care about their jobs and their customers. FIVE STARS Great attitudes! Maybe the MVP at GMH is whoever is doing hiring. By-the-way VRod Muscle Vs Road King I preferred the Muscle."

"I recently took advantage of your rental program to rent an Electra Glide and experience Harley-Davidson for a weekend trip to the Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Maine. I've no significant previous experience with H-D or full touring motorcycles however, I have over 35 years of riding experience on sport and sport touring bikes. I had an excellent time starting with a thorough brief of the bike and documentation by Christine (she has terrific customer service skills and was quite knowledgeable too; refreshing!). The trip itself was close to perfect and I was quite impressed with what the Ultra offered in terms of performance and comfort. It would be hard to imagine a more comfortable bike to accumulate serious mileage. Based on my rental experience, I would highly recommend renting before buying; these bikes are expensive. Spend the extra money up front and try various models out for a day or so before making the decision to buy as you may find you really do want a little more. Upon returning the Ultra after the trip, Billy gave it a look over (no issues at all) and seemed to be genuinely interested in my riding experience and comments that I had. Overall, I was very pleased with the whole effort and can certainly see myself considering Harley-Davidson and in particular, Green Mountain H-D, when it comes to purchasing my next bike. "I was hit head on in a crash on May 23rd. My bike was totaled - a 2008 Ultra Glide. Dave, Deb, and Brian N. visited me at the hospital; which meant a lot to me. I only gave you a day or two to make it happen, strip parts off your "Modded out" Cross Bones on your show room floor and put them on our Cross Bones before it was trailered by our friend. The day I walked in and saw your Cross Bones I thought how lucky, someone in parts had great taste when they Modified your stock Cross Bones, I didn't have to wait for parts to accommodate my spur of the moment "Want" for our Cross Bones to look and sound like yours. If I picked out those parts, waited for shipment to arrive and have them put on, my bike would have been on it's way to FL. The small things you made happen to make it just right, no charge, really add up and I really appreciate that. Thanks for being excited too and gathering around for the Big Start Up! YOUCH I'm so excited to ride it now in Daytona. What was going to be a boring stock bike ride during Daytona Bike Week is now an event I can't wait for!"

"We are long time riding enthusiasts who put our riding aside while we raised a family. On a trip to Montana in july, where we met up with some old friends who are Harley riders, we went to Kalispel Harley. Our friends were doing some shopping for accessories and I decided to test sit a couple of bikes. I sat on the Ultra Clastic Electra-glide and fell in love. I asked my wife to see how comfortable the passenger seat was and she also fell in love, but didn't tell me. We had been back in Vermont for about a week when one sunday morning she said to me, "Lets go look at Harley's". It didn't take me long to find GMH on the net and we were on our way to Essex. Little did I know that she had already made up her mind to buy us a Harley (what a woman, guys eat your hearts out). After 28 years of not owning a bike, we are proud to be the owners of a 2008 Ultra Classic Electraglide. We bought the bike in late july and have logged almost 1400 miles since that time. Thank you Green Mountain Harley, We look forward to doing more business with you in the future. Our 23 year old son is now saving for his dream bike, Harley-Davidson."

"I have owned a 1990 1200 Sportster for 10 years. I have owned several other (I won't mention) motorcycles. My wife has always wanted to ride, but decided to wait until our children were older and independent. So for her 40th Birthday I bought her a 1989 883 Sportster to start with. Wow did I ever make "THE RIGHT DECISION"!!!. She took to riding like a fish to water(I knew she would).We decided to add more style to her ride this spring with a classy paint job and some chrome and a solo seat. Another right decision.Her ride looked pretty after all. But unfortunately has had a few mechanical issues. GMHD was/ is SPECTACULAR with helping us with those issues. Mike and Tom and Jeff were very helpful with all our questions and parts ordering. On our 2nd or 3rd trip to GMHD for more parts for her '89, I(always looking around the show floor) couldn't stop looking and even sitting on the 2008 CROSSBONES. During our next visit (for Sportster parts) I couldn't help myself. I purchased the Crossbones. WOW, WOW what a ride. My wife has since taken over the 1200 Sportster. Brian was our salesperson, Ezra helped with financing. It was near closing time for the day but, Brian, Ezra and Dave all stayed late so I could take my new bike home that day. Dave even let me borrow his coat for the chilly ride home. Now we own 3 Harleys (keeping one for our son) and our daughter also purchashed her sportster from GMHD. WE, the Enos Family are very pleased with GMHD. The most excellent H.D. dealership we have entered in New England. Dave and Debby, THANK YOU. "I want to thank the crew for super fast response to what I was sure a breakdown on my way home after my 1000 mile service. I had pulled over to adjust my clothing due to weather when the bike just shut down. pssst pooof pop - -dead. Every effort I could think of to get it started failed. So I called Roy in service and anxiously asked what the heck they might have done during my service appt that would cause this???? He walking me though everything he could think of that I should try or look for. Still nothing. He dispatched a resucer, Gary, to retrieve the bike and give me a ride the rest of the way home if needed. When Gary arrived, he found out that he is more of a service tech then he thought he was. He checked a few things before we went through the effort of loading the bike in the truck. By golly the second thing he did proved to correct the problem. She started right up. It also pointed out that I am certainly a freshman - first year - bike rider. Yes folks, somehow while pulling over and/or adjusting my clothing the kill switch had gotten moved to the off position. I still have no idea how or when it happened as I was no where near the switch when the bike shut off. Needless to say I felt pretty stupid, but Gary assured me that things like this happen to most riders at one time or another. That sort of helped me feel better, but I still think he was just being nice. Anyway, I finished the ride home under my own power even though the ego was badly bruised. I'm still on the road today thanks to Roy and Gary. Thanks guys!! I still think I owe you each a beer or two. 08/13/08 BPF"

"I was in the market for a used bike and happened to drive by GMH. I walked in and the salesman Tim Longe greeted me in the first isle of bikes. We had a chat for a while of just where and what we ride. I didn't feel any sales pressure at all. He treated me like I would want to be treated at a dealership. In the meantime, I looked over a used 2003 Honda VTX1300s in the showroom that was in absolute mint condition and was at a good price that I could afford. I bought it and I love it. "Brought our 2006 Electra Glide Standard in for a new rear tire and 20000 mile service this past weekend in a u-haul trailer. The roads from Newport are in terrible shape so I stopped often to check the bike. On one of my stops one of the metal O-rings used to secure the bike had broken and the bike was almost on the floor. I was able to get it back up and secured but it was a slow trip to Essex. Once the bike was unloaded I asked Ernie if I could borrow some tules to replace the broken O-ring and he came out and helped me fix it. Dave, Ernie and the rest of the gang are great and every time I get a chance I tell people about Green Mountain Harley. Thanks for all your help and for going the extra mile. Denis"

"I LOVE GMHD!! I have to say though, I am pleased to see there is new ownership. I absolutely ADORE Jeff and Mike in parts and am so glad to see you have kept them on. Additionally, Brian the sales manager and Ezra the business manager have been incredibly great and helpful. I can't say enough good things about the staff there. I hope you are also keeping on the gals in motorclothes, they are very helpful and really know their stuff! My only complaint - which is a tiny one that perhaps you can fix - is that I bought my Harely in August 07 and was supposed to get a free HOG membership for a year. "I traded my 07 Nightster in and bought a 2007 Softail Deluxe, August of 07. During the winter of 2007, 2008,Green MTN Harley , turned my hopes and visions for my Deluxe into reality. Parts and Service department are very friendly and helpful with suggestion and direction. I had several parts powder coated by one of their outside vendors and was very pleased with the quality when my parts came back. I had my seat recovered, again they recommended a very reliable and talented vendor Collin Bennet. Roscoe, one of the multitalented mechanics in the back was very helpful, again with direction and suggestions and his tasteful vision and execution made the bike complete. Rosco has a discerning eye and a professionalism that puts anyone to ease and made me comfortable knowing the bike was in good hands! The seat the parts and the finish work turning my Softail Deluxe into a more personalized bike went smooth, the bike looks amazing and I couldn't have done it without the many talents and opinions at Green Mountain Harley. " I Love My New to me Harley. I was Brought up around Harleys. My dad has a Elecytra Glide Classic. My Older brother has an Dyna Soft tail.I have wanted a Harley for a very long time. The closest I ever got was when I bought A honda shadow. Yet it was a good bike it still didn't seem to fullfil my desires. It wasn't untill I went out on a search for a motorcycle for my best friend [ Randy Farnum ] . We went to a lot of dealers and they all seem to be in a rush to sighn or get out. That didn't work for us! So at the last minite I said why dont we go to GREEN MT HARLEY Just for the hell of it. Hot dam am I glad that we did. We walked in and their was no Pressure no sighn and drive or get out attude. Ther was a friendly sales rep. That was happy to talk to us about any concerns we may have. We spent about 4 hours there and were treated like Family. I had a 2007 yamaha and wasent realy happy. I asked if i were to trade my yamaha in if they would be able to pay off my loan. They did and now I can say DREAMS CAN AND IN MY CASE DID COME TRUE ! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH GREEN MT HAREY! The only thing that sucked was that 2 weeks after I bought My Harley I had to put it up for the winter. Boy do I miss my bike, you think they would mind if I went up and spent the night with my bike. "Last year when my husband and I were passing through on our way home to Ottawa, ON from the Nova Scotia - you guys were kind enough to stay open an extra 5 minutes one night to let us see the store (and make some quick purchases). You really made our best friends daughter really happy as I found the perfect shirt for her at your store (she wears it all the time). "I had my V-Rod serviced there for the first 1000 mile service with no problems. Two days later I was riding about 30 miles from the dealership when I got a screw stuck in my back tire. I called Eric at the service center and he sent a truck right out to get me. It was about 4:30, 30 minutes before they closed on a Saturday. The next morning about 11:30 I picked up my bike and finished my trip."
